I'm not familiar with the EGR system as mine does not have one. @iamdub

Mine doesn't, either. EGR officially ended in 2003.

OP talked about EGR and then replacing parts in the back by the tank—I think he’s referring to the evap system.

Yes I meant the evap. Would that cause a vacuum leak from there?
