Couple more beginner questions guys.

This is the $68 rear 1.5" level I'm looking at on ebay, I like that it has the rear shock extenders with it.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BB-REAR-1-5-COIL-SPACER-LEVELING-LIFT-KIT-W-SHOCK-EXTENSION-4X2-4X4-/180940083890?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3AChevrolet|Model%3ATahoe&hash=item2a20de92b2&vxp=mtr

1. Does this kit fit the Z71 rear suspension? (only specifies LS, LT, LTZ)

2. Does it become necessary/advisable to install longer sway bar linkages with a level to maintain handling? (front and/or rear)

3. Will the truck likely feel sluggish at 3.73 axle ratio with the larger 33" tires?

Thanks again

just spend the $369 for the rough country 3.5" lift... it has everything u will need, the extra lift will make a noticeable difference, and rides just like stock...

i have 305 55 20's and they don't really effect the performance, but rub a tad at full lock...

I personally wouldn't buy a $68 leveling kit off ebay, but that's just me.

I'm running a CCM kit on mine with 285 BFG's and have had no issues at all. My tread is still strong. I need to put a new set of shocks on mine and am considering removing the CCM and putting the Bilstein 5100's that have leveling capabilities on there. I would take a look at those as well if I was you, they are getting outstanding reviews.

Gig 'Em as well, '98 here.

FYI on another forum, some one put on the Bilstein 5100s and it wasn't as high as the CCM. Also there was less damping than the Z71 struts, so it was less firm/more roll.

I currently have a TGC 2.5" leveling kit up front and a 1.5" rear billet spacer in the rear. If I get bilstein 5100's all the way around, how much extra "lift" would I get?

That would create a severe angle for the CVs and would not be recommended. I am assuming you meant leaving the 2.5" spacer and adding the 5100s to provide more lift. Also the rear shocks would not provide any lift in the back and you would have the Cali lean.

I had to do all the same trimming up front, Chevy likes to make it a pain in the ass to fit bigger tires... ur's looks great buddy.

really sucks that we all have this rubbing issue on our sway bars... anybody know a way to fix this issue with out a wheel spacer? i cant think of a way cause its probably impossible...

Aw ok thanks. Yes sir you assumed correctly. I wanted another inch or two but they don't make suspension lifts that small and they don't make an avalanche specific body lift. Thanks for answering!
