plugs
wires
all (4) 02 sensors
all fluids, including brake fluid
the water pumps on the k2's are modular, changing parts of it is pretty simple, not sure how the melling is designed for the l83/l86
although melling possibly makes them for gm anyway

I hear you on the 100k maintenance schedule. Over the years I had a 04, 07 and a 15 Tahoe. Never an issue with any at all using the AC Delco parts from whomever had the best price. Here's what I would recommend:

- Water Pump - easy to replace, only a few bolts. Pops right on and off. The replacement is just the plate and new impeller.
- Belts - Accessory, A/C and VAC Pump. The A/C and VAC Pump are stretch fit. Plenty of info out there if you want to use the "special tools" or a few DIY ways with a zip tie and whatnot.
- Plugs and Wires certainly. Coils - No, I'd wait unless you're getting a cylinder misfire code. I was at 167k on my last Tahoe before I sold it and no issues.
- Transmission fluid and filter. I always like to drop the pan and clean the magnet. Note this will only get a portion of the fluid renewed. The rest is in the system and torque converter. There are a few videos out there of how to flush by fill and purge until you get cherry red fluid out. Note - the pan is a PITA to drop because of the crossover pipe.
- All other fluids - including front / rear diffs and transfer case (if you're 4WD).
- Think about the rear shocks and front struts. Don't normally get more than about 80k before they're "tired" IMO.
- Look close at those sway bar end links (front and rear). Cheap to replace and a good finishing touch.

Below is a snip of a set of repair parts I put on my 2015 at 105k. I wouldn’t skimp on the water pump, it’s too essential and a low quality unit will leave you stranded. You don’t really need a whole new manifold, just the pump impeller and t-stat.

For the trans pan, I looked in to that too. I never really saw any trans temp or fluid quality issues with the stock pan. I towed a good bit (highway and in town) with decent loads (7k or so).

What I did do was to flip the pill inside the trans bypass thermostat. Easy videos on you tube. Trans temps always ran cooler even in the heat of summer since it wasn’t waiting to 189F to send fluid to the air to fluid cooler (top portion of the a/c condenser / trans cooler combo).

I see there is plate propeller and there is whole unit with thermostat https://www.amazon.com/Melling-High-Performance-Water-MWP500/dp/B07BNVVMQ5
Will 6l80 benefit with aftermarket pan that adds 3 qt of fluid ?
I put one on both of mine
and the thermostat bypass is super easy to do and only a $20 part you can do it in your driveway
best thing you can do for it though is a billet torque converter
