Glad to hear that it is "fixed" and I hope that it lasts. You may want to consider doing this again with a full fluid change, pan drop, and filter replacement every 40,000 miles or so - earlier than the "recommended" intervals.
Correct, I will definitely be doing this at proper intervals going forward.

Do you have access to a bidirectional scan tool that can show you torque converter slip speed and torque converter lockup values?

Unfortunately I don't. I've read of many, but my head hurt trying to figure out and make sense which was which.

Do you have a recommendation?

There are many types as far as I'm aware, you don't need a Snap-On these days as there are ample and less expensive alternatives.

New update: hard shifting is back with a vengeance, and some TCC shudder is back as well.

It's particularly egregious when cold, but the transmission practically slams into gears all the time, even when warmed up. Imagine the experience since it's a 10-speed and it shifts hard into every single gear. Makes for a real jerk-fest.

I guess it's time to take it to a dealer. :(

Disappointing. It sounds like it might not be a torque converter issue, but you never know. You really need a competent and interested shop able to diagnose properly rather than just speculate and throw parts at it/replace it all regardless. Good luck finding that level of care though.

Good luck, I hope its not a huge deal. Keep us updated.
Thanks guys. I've scheduled an appointment with my dealer for Monday of next week. Thankfully, they're not THAT bad, and have taken care of me on a few occasions, so I trust them.
