How tall of a lift am I gonna have to go with to run 14.5 in wide tires that are technically a 13.5 in wide I have a 3 in body lift and am thinking about running a 3 in rough country lift then adding blocks and ford keys. Then getting wheel spacers. Would that be enough to clear 36x14.5x16

I would for sure rub if I had tires 13.5 wide.. My tires are 12.5 wide and I have a 6 inch lift but i dont rub

Edit: Actually.... IDK.... I think it might work..

I'd say you'd need around 4-6" lift with some trimming, but the width of the tire would be more affected by the rim width and offset/backspacing. The wider the tire the lower the offset required to not rub.

need at least 6" lift plus the 3" body lift. I am lifted about 8" and sometimes rub 35x12.5 on a x9 wheel. You will need to run at least a x10 wheel. The wheel spacers along with a 14.5" tire will destroy the hubs. But that's just my $.02.
