Unfortunately my truck is nowhere near so I can't measure...but I need to have the u joint next time i'm in the shop b/c we're doing the rear axle swap.

My rear is a '95 K2500 so I know it's a 1350...but I'm not sure what my '99 4dr 4x4 Tahoe has on the end. (but it might be a Precision 447)

I've done a bit of searching but unfortunately I haven't found exactly what mine is b/c there's a few the Chevy's put on the end. Can anyone confirm?

If anyone's interested, here's a swap writeup - http://www.4wheeloffroad.com/techar..._0610_chevrolet_tahoe_14_bolt_axle/index.html

the answer was in your article....R3 U-joint driveshaft to mate to a 1350 U-joint yoke? No problem, that exact conversion U-joint is readily available (Precision U-Joints, PN 447).

I did :)

I was reading on another forum about a late 90's 1500 having a different ujoint that also had the 5.7l and 4l60e so I just want to make sure.

Both rockauto and summitracing are stating I have this ujoint;

here it is:

I had an older '90 Suburban 2wd, grenaded TWO 1/2 ton axles in a span of about 4 months. Screw trying it a third time, I upped the ante and dropped in a 3500 series van axle. I also needed the 1350 crossover u-joint to mate everything up. All I had to do was weld on a couple new spring perches on the axle (with correct pinion angles!), and transfer measurements of my shock mounts. As a bonus, the van axle was about 4" wider flange-to-flange, pushed my rear wheels out to fill up the wheelwell better.
