160 thermostat

Contrary to popular belief, a lower temp thermostat wont lower your operating temperatures if the ambient temps are high. If its 110* outside, and your engine is running at 210*, there would be no difference between a stock 189* t-stat and a 160* t-stat. It would just take longer for your engine to warm up and cut down on cold-engine fuel mileage and performance.
If you want to lower your operating temps, get a bigger radiator, or switch to straight water + water wetter

Water wetter lowered my temps in the vehicle's I've used it in.
I have a 160 t-stat in camaro and it takes much longer to warm up than stock.
