Anyone else get a loud click when boards retract? Mine do, on both drivers and passenger sides.... silicone not quieting them down. Just started after my trip down to Florida.... piece of crap has 7500 miles on it....wtf....GM strikes again...

Mine just have a Hum when they extend and retract.

Sometimes after puddle jumping, or during this past Winter, they had a small Grinding noise, but that was just from Sand & Dirt being in the Pivots. Hose them out, and they're all good.

Bring it in and gripe and let them fix it Pete; and keep the Tahoe!

My 2019 Denali passenger side occasionally won't come out, starts to and then retracts. I don't want to take it to dealer for an occasional event because it invariably won't happen
there. What should I look for as a cause?

They return to their previous positions (retracted or extended) when they sense too much resistance. Mine both do that occasionally, so I spray all the joints with Blaster Silicone Lubricant and they are fine for a long time after that. Of course, before spraying, make sure they are washed and not a bunch of sand and dirt caked up.
