My girl is finally stepping up and wanting a K1500 or K2500 Silverado or Sierra GMT800 for the safety of air bags. There has been numerous things done to her 131k miles GMT400, that has been featured in numerous threads of Shaggy's GMT400 Forum. She has the previous owner's records and all of the paperwork of repairs and maintenance during her ownership and of course since I came on the scene. New headliner and visors material, new exterior light housings-front and rear, Retro Radio install in the dash, new grill, new side moldings, new upper fan shroud....etc. These are considered the light duty 3/4 ton because they are a 2500 series but still have the 6 lug wheels. It has the tow package rear hitch with appropriate plug ins and a trailer brake controller.

It does have the small puff of blue smoke on a cold start and I have the valve stem seals to fix as well as intake gasket set, new a/c clutch-it blows cold but the clutch is getting noisy, lower fan shroud and if I do that work, the asking price will increase but if a new owner wants the parts for free and do themselves, the price will reflect that decision. Tires are good and can go across country, no problem. There is absolutely no rust, even on the body parts. No dents and no wrecks. The 700R4 transmission was replaced a few years back while she has owned it and done by a GM dealer in Wa. No leaks anywhere. Some pics show the old side molding and some show the new side molding.

This truck just made a 712 mile round trip from Eugene, Or. to north of Seattle, Wa. with no problems at all. The old OE radio did not work so I found, thru the GMT400 Forum, a company called Retro Radio and installed a new system in the dash where the old radio was. The OE set up comes with a cassette player/equalizer in the center of the dash and is still there but not hooked up. Most members at the GMT400 Forum, remove the equalizer and make a storage hole in the dash. Numerous threads about that.

The color scheme is a rare combination, from factory. Asking price is $11k and is not an Or Best Offer. The additional work new parts go with the truck. The interior is like new. You can respond here or message me. I am likely leaving out some details and am open to questions. There is a bunch of pics at the other forum, more than what I will post here. thanks for any consideration.

Well, after all the previous positive comments about my girl's truck and the fact of how good a condition it is in and no rust and close to 120 views, no one wants to even talk about it. Not even in the messaging section, away from prying eyes. I have only listed this truck here and at the GMT400 Forum I belong to.

To help generate some conversation I will be posting it for sale on CL and Facebook marketplace, next week sometime.

I and my girl, are open to cash and maybe even something other of value. This is an "Or Best Offer" after all.

Maybe people just waiting to see what happens in the election.

Here are some pics of the paperwork and there is a manual from the previous owner. The transmission, 700R4, was replaced in 2012 22k miles ago. My own work is well documented in the Garage thread.

Please see the edited asking price in the first post of the thread. Final price is $13k and the additional work parts go with the truck.
