Hey guys:
I recently bought what I thought was a Tahoe, but is a '93 Chevy Blazer. Hopefully you guys will let me hang around even though the name is different, lol.
Anyway, I've had several 88-'98 GM trucks but not a Blazer/Tahoe and I knew I wanted this one the second I saw it. I had to bid for it as a repo but got a decent deal anyway.
What I bought is a 2-door, 4WD, Z71 Blazer...with a 5 SPEED. Compnine says there were only 525 made in '93 with a manual.
This truck had a repaint at some point and is solid white now, and I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to be so if you guys can share what it should look like, I'd appreciate it.
Let me throw some codes at you:
V22 Chrome grille
ZY2 two-tone
50U Olympic White primary
91L Dark Argent secondary
B71 wheel molding
BYP sport package
Every picture I've seen shows the two-tone with an argent grille and bumpers. My truck has the argent rear but a chrome front, with a white-painted grille.
I don't think these are supposed to say Z71 anywhere on them even if they are Z71-equipped.
This one isn't a base truck either...it has every power option including driver seat.
I figure it came from somewhere around Colorado because it is coded for V10 cold climate provisions and NA6 high-altitude emissions.
Thanks for any advice.
