I am wanting tp replace the existing mechanical water pump in my 1998 350 Chevy Tahoe but I can not find an electric pump that has a heater and thermostat by pass ports in addition to the two head ports and the radiator return port.
What have you done to over come this issue, is there an electric pump that works for this application?
Ignorance question - Where do the heater and thermostat pipe enter the mechanical pump ... suction side or delivery side? If they are both suction side I could use the optional radiator port on the CVF electric pump I have purchased.
What volume electric pump do you recommend? The CVF I have is rated at 35 gpm.
