I have a 1998 tahoe 2 door LS with push button 4WD. auto 4x4 also. I'm going to lift it without a doubt. 6'' with Toyo Mt 35x13.50R15LT and 15x10 ion Wheels. I'm a tight budget. So this will be over a course of months. hopefully be done mid summer or before.
Here is my questions. If i get the RCX 6'' supsension lift, Will it require Autotrac drive shaft? Rear Sway-bar Links? Steering stabilizer?
What is all needed to have it done correctly? I know im looking at little over 2k for it all. Im not a crazy mudder or rock climber. Just a weekend mud hole, nothing to deep, Mostly a lifted street truck with off road capabilities. Any input is appriciated even if its a smarta** comment.

RCX 6 should be around 1000k
As stated you will need the new front driveshaft.

you do not need new rear sway bar links
or a steering Stab (although this wouldn't hurt)

One thing I would do and made my lift so much better and a lot of guys don't do is check out your stock front end parts (ball joints,Hubs, ect…) Obviously replace what is nessacary but it will make the Lift ride better and safer.

Ok, I'll check that out like you said. If i check them myself, What would I be looking for as wear? Rust, Cracks, General stuff like that?
And i ask about the steering cause mine is little bit loose, Or has play in the wheel. Would high steer arms be a bad investment for it??

By wear i mean anything suspension wise that has not been replaced recently, ball joints, tierod ends , sway bar bushings, hubs , pitman and idler arm.

If you have play in the wheel check the gear box they are known to wear and get loose on these trucks. A new gear box will tighten the steering up , coupled with new front end suspension and steering parts mine drives better than my 05 dodge ram daytona with 60k miles. (Pre 35s mud grapps)

I just lifted my1998 2 door with the rcx 6" and lemme tell you she looks mean!!! I went with the same setup you want 98Doubledoor!! I did replace worn idler, pitman and tie rod ends. Gearbox at 140k miles still tight. I'm glad I got the NP241 tcase so I don't need the driveshaft. Hope to see yours soon!!

As Don mentioned, when you install the lift, this is the perfect time to replace any OEM front components - ball joints, tie rods, pitman/idler, steering box, control arm bushings, etc etc

To complete the lift install, you need to take apart quite a bit of your front end, so you might as well go all-in while the truck is apart. Assume your truck will be up on blocks for a few days to do all of this, but it will be WELL WORTH your time and investment.

If you don't, you're essentially going to have to replace these parts anyway, but you'll have to disassemble your truck again which is a big time constraint.

For the 6" lift on your Tahoe, I think you will need the rear link extensions. I don't run with a rear anti sway, but I'm not sure how you would connect it using the stock links..but Don may have figured out how!!

Well its gonna be a bit before i can get it all up and going. Bills are strapping me right now. Thanks a bunch for all the advice and help. Its really pushing me in the right direction right now. Well i know for my tires thats about 1100$ the lift is about 1100$ roughly with tax. Rims 450$ the driveshaft another 500$ roughly. So i'm already at like 3Grand. How much is the "ball joints, tie rods, pitman/idler, steering box, control arm bushings" Going to run?? Cause if its cheaply i mat get those first. And then add the lift. next.

So 99Yukon_Z71 you got a new Tcase and didn't need the new drive shaft?? How does that cause you not to need it?
