1. Install new gasket on two dry surfaces.
2. If the teeth on that gear look the same all the way around, it is ok.
3. Do you have any oil up inside the distributor? If so, replace distributor.
4. Now is time to do cap and rotor if old enough and have any deposits at firing tips.
5. Gotta check something and will respond back.
6. Cant remember and not gonna go look, do the cam sensor if not done yet.
7. If feel like it and just want to be ****, do the drive gear if dont need the new dist.
8. Gear is easy. R&R roll pin.
9. Check check check all related wiring and connectors and inspect coil for any cracks and discoloration.

Looks dry, not seeing any oil. Is the shaft supposed the have play? That and some slightly discolored teeth is all I’ve found so far.
To remove sensor, turn rotor plate to line the notch up for clearance
