Hey Folks,
I have had the 99 2DR since it was born. Beat the crap out of it and now I discover I can't afford to replace it with anything else. Also want to keep this old girl. If I am able, I'd like to get some help from you all.

1st I'm trying to get my fan motor blower to run. It was stuck on HI for a couple of months and then stopped. Replaced the resistor, blower still not running. Fuse good. Switch "feels" ok making detents at right spots. I see by the schematic there is a relay for the motor. Does this relay commonly need replacement? I hate replacing good parts! All that's left is the switch, relay, or blower. What would be your next move?

you should be able to test the motor and see if that is for sure your problem. im sure @SunlitComet could explain that to you in detail. I only say motor because I see that is the most common piece to go after the resistor and u have already replaced that

If you have time to rip into it to get to the motor for diagnosis and have a test light capable with the power function (press a button and it sends power to what your testing) you can unplug the motor and try to power it directly. If it spins it SHOULD be ok. As far as the relay goes you should be able to locate a relay thats being used for something else but it will have the same p/n on it. You can swap those relays to see if that works. If both of those are fine then it probably the switch but i doubt it. Btw when testing the motor if it spins try to leave it spinning for a few seconds to make sure it stays spinning.
