I had a 04 z71 for years, loved it but was 11 yrs old. Bought a 2015 4Runner limited, don't like the v6, size is too small and the suspension is very harsh. Hate to take a bath but looking to trade but have a few questions.

Like the look of,the new Tahoe but the ride and reliability doesn't seem as good as the old and the price is high so I am focused on a 2013-2014 ltz or Denali w awd 4wd. Questions as follows

Is the autoride suspension as cushy and soft as the std suspension on the LT? I like a luxury ride.

Will the Denali and LTZ ride exactly the same in terms of feel, handling and absorbing bumps? Seem to be the exact same suspension and vehicle, features, etc except motor and astetics

I need 4wd for mud, water and moderate off-road use associated w a hunting lease. Is the Denali awd system highly competent? I don't use 4 low, I live in Florida so sand, mud and water

Does the ltz have the 8 cylinder to 4 cylinder feature for gas mileage? I know, the LTs do, assume ltz is the same.

Thank you.

One other thing, have considered the Lexus LX570 but just too pricey but seems like a luxury vehicle that I would like as much as these two but also less storage space.

The autoride adjusts to the road conditions, meaning a better ride and less body roll compared to an LT.

I think all or most gm 5.3s have active fuel management.

Same exact trucks - it boils down to which one you think looks better. Plus the Denali you get the 6.2. Never had issues with any AWD system in most situations.

Here's the details on how it works.

I think all or most gm 5.3s have active fuel management
Unfortunately, this is incorrect. This applies to the 2015+ which is way different from earlier years "autoride"

Autoride simply levels the rear. Good if you tow. I changed my blown out shocks on my LTZ with standard shocks and the ride was identical.

Autoride adjusts the shocks, Autolevel is for leveling. You can have autolevel without autoride.

The error he is referring to is my link (which I removed) to the magneride which is not on the LTZ prior to 2015. They use bi-state dampening.

I have owned both. 2010 Tahoe LTZ and a 2010 Denali XL. Those have totally different suspension. The LTZ has magnetic where the Denali has air. They rode completely different. The Wife and I like the air ride better for the smoothness. The Tahoe ride was very harsh. The Denali sat lower with the awd where as the Tahoe was taller but had factory-installed automatic running boards (which were nice.) The Denali has the 6.2 better transmission and rear axle.

All in all we like the Denali better but it comes down to personal preference. Go and test drive both and see which on you like better.

2010 LTZ and Denali have the same suspension. Magnetic didnt appear in these until 2015.
