I was wondering--I have 2 brand new Borla mufflers I'd like to use. I'd probably run them in a straight line, since I don't have duals. Only thing is inlet/outlets are 2 1/4" and my existing exhaust is approximately 2.75". Would it hurt flow if I used adapters going from 2 1/4" to 2.75 -- 3" to make those mufflers work? Right now I have a single 3" in/out straight through MBRP on there. I just want to quiet it down now. Also--i have long tubes with no cats, so it6extra gnarly. Any info is appreciated.

It'll hurt flow some but in my uneducated opinion I doubt you would ever notice a performance difference doing it.
Thx for the reply. I also thought so, I'm curious to hear what other's opinions might be.

I hear ya, it's low on the list for me, but definitely on the list.

I can’t really say anything with authority, but personally, I’d avoid going any smaller than the 2.75” stock size.
