2/3 or 3/5 that is the question

lower qa1 springs just need the right length. Been there done that did it back in 99 when people wanted to go lower and notch it. After 5 inches notch the thing str8 up.

I know...Im saying..Im nowhere near the frame with my 5... if I put 6 in, it would be 1 inch closer to the frame..but still not even close enough for a need to notch it

why isnt qa1 more popular anyways? seems like the main brands are DJM, Belltech, Mcgaughys and maybe 1 or 2 more...

no one even uses it on any forum becuase they dont know about it im the first to do it. People are stuck with djm belltech etc because not many want to go lower than 5 inches in rear. When they do thats when i do it for my customers here but the ride is dependent on the person and to get it to work you need to work otu a few things.

honestly even with a free travel mod 5 inch djm springs are ok but i recommend a notch if going lower jsut the way ive been doing these since 99.

its easy esp if you have the right size shocks ete. there are a few things needed to maek the qa1 work correctly but nothing needs to be modified just comes down to some basic things.

Screw lower than 5".
I just got to 5" in the rear and I am 100% satisfied, bought a SUV for some slight reason lol, plus anything lower would mess up a 24" wheel setup IMO!

I wish they made an 8" spring. My vote is for the 3/5 since you'll always want to go lower. I've found the best 5" spring is the belltech since they're progressive rate and ride the best :imo: I'd like to see a few people try the QA1 springs otherwise I'll have to try it at some point. Bags are gonna be a pita and I'm not sure I want to bag this truck.
