2000 GMC Yukon slt ac control panel is Celsius?

I’m just a bit curious, but my brother in law just got a 2000 GMC Yukon. I have a 2001, and my dad has a 2002, so we know quite a bit about them. I’m not sure why, but on the 2000 model, the ac control panel shows Celsius instead of Fahrenheit. The one in the front and the back are both matching, so I know it’s factory. Could this Yukon be from Canada or something? Could this mean any of the other parts are different? Any info would be appreciated.

Well his dash gauges would show different units of measurement too.

in the dic it is probably set to metric, change it back to English, I don't recall this being an option on my 2000 though when I had it but it also did not have the digital ac control either.

I think he's referring to the printed writing around the controls Wes. I don't think they had a digital readout, not even a DIC but that message center box too.

My Denali was the same when I bought it. The instrument cluster was MPH though; I'm not sure if the Canadian vehicles have a different cluster. Anyway, after deciphering my RPO codes I found out it was a Canadian vehicle. Check your glovebox for RPO Z49, that would indicate a Canadian vehicle. I bought controls off EBay that were in farenheit.

Pnp. The only difference is the decals actually. I also later changed them to Escalade ones.

Yeah the printed part is what I’m talking about. The speedometer also shows MPH like RocketMan said. I’ll check those numbers and see what I come up with.

in the dic it is probably set to metric, change it back to English, I don't recall this being an option on my 2000 though when I had it but it also did not have the digital ac control either.
