Will not work for lowering.

I called and asked Hellwig already.

The bags are rated too high for a load is what I was told so a minimum psi keeps the rear high...... At most the rear is lowered one inch. Also Hellwig people are kinda jerks.

Yes..... I mean...... they are strong bags rated for heavy towing loads.

Thus this means a certain minimum psi is required for it to ride right. So by the time you inflate to that psi
........ you lose your lowering

Well what about using that kit but swapping the bags for normal 2600 bags?

Yes you could do that....... however would have to recalibrate the system to acknowledge the smaller bags so it does not over inflate it somehow. This system does use a height sensor on the axle. Adjust that and I would say it would work.

Download the pdf instructions from Hellwig website. It is really thorough. That is a detailed system. Drilling involved ......last I remember.

Yea I have.
It says no drilling involved on the website.

BUT in the instructions say to drill in the cross member and to mount compressor.
So it's not really a big deal. You don't have to drill out the spring bucket or anything the bags are bolt on.
I am really only concerned with welding.
