I miss my Square...One in particular that comes to mind is HotrodPC over on GMSquarebody.
When I lived in KC, Mo. I used to run a tow truck o weekends as an on call driver. The first 6 months were great and saw a lot of strange things but I quit one day after a call was over. A car with a family of 4 in it ran a stop sign near a small gas station and grocery store in the country. There was a flat bed truck coming right at them. The truck was there, completely off his route because he was running around scales. That truck plowed over the car and trapped it under the tractor and slid into the gas station before it stopped. I had to hook up and pull/roll the tractor off of the car as another tow truck dragged it out from under. All four, 2 kids, were killed on impact. It was a mess to say the least. I handed in my keys right after that. Tow truck drivers that can last thru something like that are made of something I am not. After all, someone has to do it.
go to the dealer and get a key it's like 12$ for that old tahoe or you will a title or registration and a ID (cut from VIN not a copy)My truck has been sitting for a few years and I've since lost the key. There is no battery in the truck. It's a lawn ornament at this point but I need the room and need it gone. The kids took the key and lost it. I only had the one. Is there an easy way to shift into Neutral so I can have it junked? I'd like it gone ASAP. I did a search here and the only thing relevant was a linkage in the transmission? There's snow in my yard and it will be there for a while, so getting under it won't be an easy task, at least not for a bit. I hope there's another way. Help?
