2001 Tahoe remote

Hello, I would like to buy a new remote for my Tahoe, because I only have one.

The actual I have is marked as part number 15232808 and it seems it is a part discontinued. The most similar I find is 15732803 but I do not know if they are compatible.

Anyone here knows what part number should I search for ?

i just recently bought a new remote for my father in laws 04 envoy from advanced auto in town. with thier usual discounts and a coupon code it came to 35 bucks. we just went into the store with the one he had and bought a replacement that is listed for his year and matched the look of the one he already had.

VIPER is a Alarm system that has its own remotes, and the one I purchased transmits up to a 1/4 mile away
