Something that needs asked. Age of plugs and wires? I still want to know pressure when having problem. Age cam and crank sensor?

I’m going to buy a tester tomorrow morning when they open back up it’s only 10 bucksDo they have a rental tool for that?
Its already installed in your vehicle. Remove a spark plug (cold engine) and stick it in its spar plug wire and lay it against a metal ground. Have someone crank engine while you observe if spark is there and the color of it. Spark should be pretty blue. Orange and white is a problem. You can also just pull a spark plug wire off of spark plug and stick any spark plug in it to test for spark.Do they have a rental tool for that?

Also you may want to pop the hood at night in your driveway and have someone crank engine and have a look around to see if there is any lightning shows anywhere which would mean you have a crack or break in your spark path. Cracked Ignition coils, spark plug wires and even a cracked insulator on a spark plug will cause this. A spark coming from a cracked part will show up light lightning storm in the dark. You will see the flash. Tell the wife to turn off the porch light to make it easier to see and this is a look....keep your hands in your pocket so it stays out of the fan and belt and also keeps you from going to see the light and speak with Jesus when you grab ahold of 20K+ volts of igntion voltage if there is a break somewhere. You dont want to go finding it with your fingers!
This was after 10 minutes of sittingIf you pull a plug or use an extra plug to check for spark while the plug wire is still attached, try using pliers that have an insulated handle to hold the plug threads against a metal ground spot to see the spark. I prefer this to holding against ground/metal by hand. There is also a fancy schmancy tool that has a window that you remove the wire, plug this tool on the plug tip and the wire on to the other end of the tool and watch in the window while cranking and running.
