I have a 2003 Denali I just purchased that has the 2-3 flair, and seems to hang in first maybe a bit long also at ,,,,,lets say 40-60 % throttle.
Now if I go WOT from a dead stop to 100 MPH ( on a track of course ) it shifts perfectly so I dont think its the clutches or any fatal issue.
Had anyone had an issue similar. Ive heard about check balls, sticky valve bodys, and changing to a Corvette servo but was looking for advice to see if this was familiar to anyone.
The trans fluid was changed about 8,000 miles ago at a GMC dealer and was a bit low. I topped it off , no change,,,, overfilled it by 1/2 qt, and then 1 qt with no change also FYI.
As a second question. What are you seeing for trans temp whn its cold outdside..... my guage doesnt even make it to the 150 degree mark.
Thanks in advance.
