2003 Suburban 4x4 issue

I have a 2003 Suburban that sat for a while after my brother hit a deer with it. The transmission went bad because he drove it with broken lines and ran it dry on fluid. That has been replaced. Here is my issue.....The front right hub seems to be locked somehow now? no issues prior.....In auto 4wd it seems to go down the road fairly normal. When you try to shift to 2wd it will blink then kick its self into 4hi. While in 4hi it pulls to the right/passenger side pretty hard. Sway bars looked fine. I was thinking something with the front diff electronics?
just a little more info on the deer crash....it hit center on the bumper and smashed the grill, bumper, trans cooler, and ac condenser. Nothing else mechanical was damaged to my knowledge.......
Any pointers of things to try would be great!!!

I'd be looking at the front passenger ball joints and tie rod ends.
