2003 Yukon for regular beach duty

I'm looking into getting an older Yukon for regular trips on the beach with 4-6 adults. The one I'm considering is a 2003 with about 125K. Questions:
Is this a reasonable thing to do with a vehicle of that age with that mileage?
Are there things mechanical-wise I should look out for?
Any recommended modifications?

Yes thats reasonable.

Check maintenance records. Make certain trans is in good shape. They can go out around that time

Watch the rear metal brake lines, they're prone to rusting out. Going to the beach a lot, I'm sure will speed up the process.
