Hello all again.

My wife's 2003 has had issues since we got it in 2005 with 30K. Brakes "seem" weak. In 2007 I believe, I was busy as he@# and, I told her to take it somewhere. Rotors were shot so to speak, $700+ and new rotors/pads all around, never again. Place said rotors were rusted and asked if we were around water...LOL.

Well 2009 came round, and her rotors were rusted a pinch and inside front rotors were extremely uneven.... so I took time to order and install myself. OK after my replacement, but something not just quite right. I only did the fronts , drilled/slotted/ceramics. Both calipers good/regrease.

Got around to the rears in 2010 =). Same group I bought a 4 pair. Drilled/slotted, and ceramic pads. Here we go again , but need to replace both calipers(1 open/ 1 shut). I do so and check both fronts, and replace driver side.

So Total brake replacement on fronts(rotor/pads) in 2009(milage?), and total brake replacement on rears(rotor/pads/calipers+new front driver caliper) in 2010(83,500ish). We currently sit at close to 92K.......

My wife has 20" rims, but tires that put her close to stock combined height/circumference......IS it the rims?.... Or her using the brake pedal like a race car clutch?......=)

Whats with the brake rotor wear? on the inside front? Outside is fine, and all caliper slides good and greased last time checked(1 complete brake job NOT done by me, and 1 done by me with new calipers to boot).

AND that folks is why I own a Jeep Wrangler.....It would be a CJ if I just kept one of the 7 I owned =).

J/K love my wifes tahoe, just not great with newer vehicles.

Why the weak brake pedal?????

Strange, there are many people around here that go almost 80-90k on the front, and I am sure many more that get tired of waiting and replace prematurely. I bought my Denali(OEM 20"wheels too) with 89k on the clock and the retired GM tech that put brakes on the front thought the pads and rotors looked like the originals, but obviously there is know way to know for sure.
I would suggest going with some OEM pads and rotors.
I am not sure if you are joking about your wife possibly driving with two feet or not, but if she is braking with her left foot, there is a good chance she is dragging the brakes, and any super dooper big money brake system will not last.
