Was almost just rearended as I sat still at a stop light. I had been stopped for about a minute but was the back car in a line of maybe 10, I happened to check my rearview mirror and noticed a single headlight racing towards me. The speed limit is 45 but everyone does 60 and it showed no signs of stopping. Something old me to pull into the median and quick, luckily I did and the driver of a 1 headlight Passat swerved seemingly inches before he would have plowed my passenger side. He nearly lost control during that maneuver but saved it. I could clearly see his big bright phone in his damn hand!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe he was googling the bulb number for his burnt out headlight.

Most likely just not a give-a-shit-about-my -car type like most young people growing up today are. So many are just not into cars like my generation was. Half of today’s kids don’t even get a drivers license. Wait for another 20 years and we are going to see the repercussions of people who have no idea how to do the most basic maintenance on their vehicles. They already don’t know how to fix shit around the house but man can they bust out the video game moves.
