Drive shaft angle isn't great and the more it squats the worse it gets. Still have a buddy supposedly working on adjustable UCAs that are beefier than Spohn. Although he did just send the cam I gave him as trade back lol.

It's not that the truck squats to fast or too hard I know that's good for traction (which it has plenty of) plus it feels "moar faster" when it squats hard. It's that after the initial squat it sorta bounces a few times before setting down. It used to bounce really bad with the old shocks now its 80%better which makes me think it just needs some more of both C&R to stiffen it some. They are super low on both settings now.

I'm assuming its not bouncing off the bump stop. I can't remember if you still have those or not

Leave the compression where it's at and add to the rebound 3 or 4 clicks(to slow down returning to ride height)

I'll try that today, just don't want to start ruining ride quality. Did you see Viking just launched there quad adjustable.

They are 1/2" poly bump pads I call them. Basically 1 step better than metal on metal but not much else. I don't think its bumping out at all, I think the spring might be binding though. Need to put grease on the bump and see if it transfers it the the frame.

I still have another set of springs to try just been busy.

Another thing I want to look at is making a shield or something to keep the parking brake cable from rubbing the shock body. Only thing I've come up with so far is to put a piece of speed tape where it contacts that shock so it can rub that instead. I don't think there's a way to move the cable enough to keep it off the shock.

i flipped the shock over, so the body is up/ shaft down, the shock extender pushes it out too far not sure how the stock shocks dont hit the cable

That's why it's a pain for you to adjust them, I think I'd have to actually lay down on my back to adjust them if the body was up. If I had an auto I'd probably delete the parking brake lol

yea, i cut some of the liner out and can sometimes adjust them thru the wheel well, but the higher they get set the harder they are to turn after they havent been messed with for a while lol
i dont like the angle of the shock with the extensions

Huh, is the angle more drastic on the NNBS? I don't think it's very severe at all on mine. I actually loosened both front and rear this morning 1click C and 2 clicks R, just to see if it takes a certain set of speed bumps a little smoother and it made a considerable difference in them. So torn between comfort and launch ability/handling lol.

When I finally get my rcsb back together I'll probably stiffen the Tahoe up and leave it for towing days and street fun. The RCSB rides downright awesome and with the new rear shock setup it will be even better. That will hopefully take over DD duties the majority of the time.
