Did some more wheel and tire math/research as well. Found a few more places listing the ltz20s as 45lbs each! The current Nitto 420s are also 44.1lbs so the current setup is 89.1lbs. The new possible combo is 30lbs for the 22" cosmos and 41.74lbs for Nitto 420v in essentially the same exact size tire 285/45/22

89.1lbs - 71.74 = 17.36lbs per corner of rotating mass! I can't believe going to dub deuces could make it faster lol. That's over 20% reduction in weight.

That's it, boy. Keep talking nerdy to me. :supergay:

Uhg got a flat omw to a doc appointment. Must have picked up a nail and then lost it omw to work this morning because it was flat when I got in to leave. Luckily its center of the tire so I'm at discount tire waiting for the repair now.

Maybe I need runs flats

Actually I guess this wheel tire combo sucks and I need to get a set of 22" Cosmis wheels and the new Nitto 420Vs.
Just gotta decide between all silver or black with silver lips.

More maths for you, The 17" Methods (25.2lbs) and load E 285/70/17 KO2s (58lbs) on my RCSB weigh 83.2lbs each (they are worn slap out as well). So I was right the LTZ20/420s combo is heavier than off-road load E 33s !!!!!! I knew my arms were calibrated but it seemed silly thinking such a shorter street combo would weigh more (5.9lbs more).

This really is surprising info that probably no one has ever bothered to consider. I never would've imagined the LTZs to be so heavy! But, I'm glad to have a surprisingly positive comparison for my homemade race wheels.:D

I was studying up last light on them XT-206rs and they're really close to the look I'm aiming for but are also functional with their light weight. I couldn't find any pics of them on a Tahoe or Yukon but they are all over trucks.

How about we go halfsies on a set of 2 and then we can take a bunch of different side shot pics on both my NBS and your NNBS. Post them all over the internet and see if the internet likes them then buy our own sets if they do. If they don't I suppose we just toss them in a lake or each get one as a spare :jester:

There was just a post about wheel weights on PTdotnet and nobody knew the weights of anything, it was a very useless thread of opinions and BS. I'd really like to get the Cosmis and see if my MPG goes up.
