Think your fire extinguisher mount is mounted firmly enough? Wouldn't want the plastic panel to crack, or the holes to get messed up from the weight and vibration over time, of the extinguisher itself.

Yeah I think so I used an oversized rivnut and didn't over clamp it to the plastic. The extinguisher isn't that heavy and since its sitting on top and not on the side I think it will be fine. I did the same thing in my old Ranger trail rig as well as my golf cart.

It doesn't wiggle at all right now. If it does start to tear the holes I'll just add a few more rivnuts and bolts.

Had the big girl on jack stands last night to bleed the brakes and finally install the stainless lines I bought on here awhile ago. The old fluid was so bad it was dark green almost like pond scum. Never seen brake fluid that dark before. Ran an entire quart through it but I think I need to grab another 1 because it still wasn't as clean as I prefer. Also the front passenger hard line would not catch the threads on the stop tech stainless kit so I had to leave 1 rubber line for now. Not sure what the issue is the old lines thread on perfectly but the new one will not begin to start and all the threads look nice. Oh well.

Also had to pull my "race truck" out because of a long term battery drain and my jumper box wasn't charged ‍♂️

Excuse the messy shop.20200316_225311.jpg 20200316_190256.jpg 20200316_225255.jpg 20200316_215823.jpg

Dan what did you DO to the race truck?!?!?!

Meaning the big dent in the side from the news anchor that backed into it a year ago?
The terrible paint that's pealing worse than people are reacting to this virus?

Or build specs? This is my build thread but its actually pretty outdated it has a 6.0 now probably gonna end up with a forged 370 or 408 soon I think I hurt the motor recently. https://www.performancetrucks.net/forums/projects-gallery-189/dirty-dans-rcsb-4x4-537246/

Alright I haven't picked it up yet because I had other obligations after work but here are the teaser photos they sent me. Also I went ahead and upgraded the front door speakers to JLC3s because he made me a really good deal on them and why not.

Looks great! I love that box. I wish I had the patience to build one like that because my setup is very similar. I have that Kenwood 906S, a kenwood excelon x801-5 amp, and a JL 12W3V3-2. I have some cheaper rockford speakers in it now, but I'm planning to upgrade the fronts to at least C2-650s. The only thing I don't like about your install is the USB inputs. I also put my amp in a different place, but your storage pocket is gone now with that box.

The sub wire is just run out the side of the pocket for now, I need to build a new box and fix the routing of that wire. Planning on running it under the seat so that it comes through the carpet directly in front of the sub.

Oh wow I honestly didn't think anyone saw those but me. I only post them on Youtube so I can post to forums easier. Well I had a strange electrical issue that was causing the fuel pump to shut of randomly. I thought I fixed it by replacing the connector the goes directly into the tank bucket and resumed getting the tune dialed in. Actually put about 150 miles on it around town one Saturday and later that night decided to raise the rev limiter to 6k and start tuning the upper end. Did a bunch of pulls without any issues until on one pull in 3rd gear at around 4500-5krpm the entire truck lost power at WOT. I was able to stop fine and got towed home because the fuel pump refused to kick on again. Finally found a loose ground on the back of the head and go the fuel pump to work. Right after that the clutch slave crapped out and the truck sat a month or so. Got it all slammed back together and did a couple little laps around the neighborhood without any issues except the catch can seemed to be venting more than I was used to. However dual -10 lines from the valve covers is a much more serious vent system than I have experience with. Decided to press on after consulting some buddies and now its smoking/steaming like a choochoo train. At first I was convinced I broke a ringland when the fuel pump died at WOT but now I'm thinking its possibly a head gasket. Which kinda blows my mind because its got LS9 gaskets and ARP studs. Plus its already had probably close to 50 boost pulls and even high boost than I had it at the night the fuel pump died.

Nice setup I've been loving this head unit so far as well as the rest of the system. If your looking to do better speakers I highly suggest the C2s or C3s Ive had C2s in my other truck for years and they still sound great. I wasn't wild about the USB location either but I never put anything in that pocket because it always fall out under acceleration and it keeps my cords out of the way of the shifter so it works for me. I also was concerned about the amp under the seat but it hasn't gotten hot which I don't expect it will and I haven't lost any function of the fold down seats.
