I got the radiator in and oil cooler lines hooked up. Also changed the oil with nothing of concern to note in the filter or on the plug.

Really pleased with this ColdCase so far the welds look great and in addition to the oil cooler it has a trans cooler built in. For now the trans cooler will be capped off but in the future it might become the power steering cooler.

On initial startup it needed a 7th quart of oil to show full on the dipstick and at least an extra gallon of dexcool to fill the cooling system. I also noticed on initial startup oil pressure took a good 30seconds to get above 20psi which is probably due to filling the cooler and lines.
Radiator is nice!

I’m happy with it, it survived an hour tow trip so far. Had the trailer loaded a little over tongue heavy which made the steering funky but not too bad.

Laid some decent welds down in a core support on a buddies wrecked car.

Hey man, with that stance, you may attract some fellow Florida dudes. You're a 4" lift in the front away from being in the bro stance

Nice looking welds too, btw

Lmao it was pretty bad I loaded it in my pasture which is kinda hilly so I didn’t notice it at first but as soon as I got rolling I could feel the steering floating a bit, honestly not to a dangerous level but not as good as it normal feels when towing proper. I think I need to look at a raised ball before Randy tries to go down my rabbit hole:oops:.

Funny thing is the rear wasn’t really compressing because I had 25* in the bags it was just lifting the front. If I hadn’t had the bags I would have had to relevel the load and push it back enough that the ramps would have had to be removed which is a PITA.

I haven’t noticed any issues with coolant not heating enough although the gauge still only gets to 175ish. Also it doesn’t look like I’m losing any OP with the cooler like I had read about. I think I had seen an average of a 5-10psI drop when adding a cooler which is pretty significant imo.

Lastly I didn’t get to tow for long but I did stick it in OD for 15 miles or so and managed 11mpg on the DIC readout and trans temp never reached 150. Overall today was a massive win win!

...I think I need to look at a raised ball...

This one line reminded me of an awesome joke I heard in a movie decades ago:

A guy is walking through Mexico...

When he comes up on a Mexican man taking a siesta with his donkey tied next to him. "Excuse me," the man says "Do you know the time?"
The Mexican man looks up sleepily, grabs his donkey by the balls, and slowly raises them up as if weighing them. "Eet's about one turty."
Confused, but in a rush, the man thanks him and goes on his way.
Later in the day, the man is returning on the same route and sees the same Mexican in the same spot with the donkey still tied up.
"Excuse me," he says, "Do you know the time?"
Again, the Mexican grabs his donkey by the balls, raises them up and says "Eet's seex feefteen."
"Okay... okay. How can you tell the time that way?" The stranger asks in bewilderment.
Once more the Mexican grabs the donkey's balls, lifts them up, points and says "You see that clocktower way over there?"

I've seen the GIF. As a matter of fact, the owner of the company I work for sent it to me about a month or two ago. I can't say that I've ever seen the movie though lol

Not that one! But, you already know through our texts.

Hint for anyone else that might be wondering: You might be high, or want to be if you were watching the particular movie in question.
