Man it’s been a good day! Got my pie cut intake all tacked up with only 2 or 3 minor issues of dirty tungsten causing a small hole but it will be easily fixed later with more filler.

Also got my Everlast Tig stick machine!

Reminds me of a centipede. Nice job.

It looks great from this distance but there are definitely a lot of not so pretty welds in there. Most stem from my tacking which is difficult to smooth out. Also there was some tape residue in the inside which pulls contaminants in as well as me dipping the tungsten in the puddle and trying to ride it out because I sharpened them 100 times already. When I finish it tomorrow and clean it up some I’ll post better pics. I’m waiting on an IAT sensor bung to arrive before I can officially install it and I need to do some clean up on the inside, luckily I haven’t burned through but a handful of time.

It’s can’t be much different than this since I have a NNBS intake manifold and LS2 TB along with E fans.
