Swapped a bad trans mount on my Tahoe and buddies 408 Denali yesterday. Pretty easy task and cheap parts. If this one goes bad then I'll find a Polyurethane mount.

Of course I had to reengineer the direct of one cross member bolt due to the wideband sensor being in the way.

They were both bad?

Mine was completely torn, the denali had become more difficult to shift and the trans appeared to be moving a lot side to side so we thought it was the mount. Pulled the old mount and it was not completely torn like most failed mounts, it was just kinda dry and shriveled. Had not planned to do the denali mount but after disassembling the Hurst shifter and inspecting everything else that seemed to be the only issue. It helped considerably but I think he needs to get an extended clutch master rod like I have or flush/bleed the clutch.
