MPVI2 Pro just arrived. Now I gotta figure out how this wireless junk works. Super excited to not have to shuffle my feet around a cable anymore. Had many times where I would touch the cable just enough during data logs that it would cut the connection and I would lose 10 minutes of abuse data.

Been noticing an odd noise for awhile now when launching hard or ridiculously aggressive shifts. I guess the fat boy yoke was hitting this little metal bracket thingy. So naturally I ground it down more and painted it. Not sure if it will be enough but I suppose we shall see.20200620_183022.jpg 20200620_183032.jpg 20200620_184644.jpg 20200620_184511.jpg 20200620_183037.jpg

I suspect some rigorous testing will be necessary...o_O

I know I owe the world a burnout with the 20s :Big Laugh:. Gonna be awhile tho Just started pulling my silverado apart and don't want 2 broke things.

Pretty sure the only time it was touching was full tilt launches and 1-2 no lift shifts. Gonna see if it touches again and rubs the paint.

Plenty of rigorous testing today towing my little trailer with 4 wheelers. It's fun to leave hard from a light with a trailer. Seemed fine during the launches but I do have something causing noise when backing up a hill. I think the front is rubbing possibly. Gotta check that out I guess.

Also the dang RME87 aka(NNBS 87mm throttle body) messed up one to many times and got put in the scrap heap. About once a month it would trigger reduced power mode and usually I could clear it with my scanner while driving and never bat an eye. Well today it made me pull over pop the hood disconnect the connector and clear the code. During which I stubbed my toe and stepped on glass because of course I was barefoot since my riding boots were wet and I forgot my flippidy floppies. Anyway it's been replaced with a 90mm LS2 I had laying around and I swapped to a different X link in case that's the issue. Didn't see any changes in AFR on my short test drive but I'm excited to do a log and see if the 90mm flows any better. Don't really expect it to though.

No I have a TBSS/NNBS intake with 4 mounting bolts. Plus you have to run an X link between the factory harness and the TB. The X link is stupid expensive I think $200+ but they have a monopoly because it's the only thing I know of that allows you to plug a gen 4 TB into a Gen 3 harness.

The reason I have LS2 TB specifically is that the LS2 TB is known to be the best for boost applications as the other OEM and after market TBs tend to slam shut under high boost but the LS2 doesn't. It's what I run on my Silverado and my buddy converted his rotary RX7 to GM DBW and uses an LS2 TB never had any issues except new they go for $400+ I think. I bought used for around $150.

I’ve been thinking about what intake and TB I can upgrade to on my ‘03 5.3 Flex. The TBSS and NNBS are the same? Didn’t realize I’d have to get a x-link harness. That makes the idea a lot less appealing. [emoji53]
