Sounds like a plan. Where'd you find the HD parts? They're getting harder to find nowadays--especially the hoods.

Been looking for a blue hood for years.

Took me maybe 2 yrs to find an oem. They fit much better then aftermarket imo. Was green, so I had it painted blue. Paid a little under $200 iirc.

I didn't want to mess with the HD bumper cap.

The V in the VIN is your 4.8 and no G80 limited slip.

The original Limited slip blew up on the previous owner and he swapped in a "Low mile" G80 because he was cheap and selling it lol.

That looks really good and a good price! I bought an after market 06/07 HD hood for my Silverado some years ago and it fits as good as the oem hood did so I'm not too worried.

My 05 LS has hydroboost and it definitely was not added because it has been in my family since new and I have maintained it since I started turning wrenches. Also a very base model. LS package, 4x4, and G80. Thats about it!

Remind me and I'll check my RPOs when I get home. I didn't drive it to work today.

Nothing wrong with base models.

Yes they do and they actually look good! But the one I found costs a little more and this thing isn't that much "racecar".
