The second J tube is in! Boy was that a PITA. The fab stuff was easier but my god is that over-axle double J tube crap heavy and awkward!

Struggled with getting the V bands at the header collector to stop leaking and eventually gave up. IDK what it is they look perfectly aligned and as tight as I can get them without thinking I'm breaking stuff but they still leak pretty badly and its annoying.

Do you think 60 psi is too much? It'll be a problem? I hope not.

No it's just more than I've seen in an LS, but I've never really put a HP pumping in anything. It oght to keep junk from clogging small holes.
These days, I say high volume over higher pressure. That being said, my camaro has high volume/high pressure melling. We did that engine in 2008 and that's what everyone was running. I do spin it 7200 rpm though. I think it idles around 1100 rpm and it's just a tick under 60 psi IIRC. It's been that way for 15k miles or so (yea, I don't drive it a lot lol) so far it's ok

The good thing about going over board with a big pump like that is you can always add a massive oil cooler and it will have plenty of pressure.

Since the trans is leaking at the shifter tower isolator it's the perfect time to push forward with the trans temp sensor install especially with the new cluster arriving this week. Gotta get a few things ordered tho.

-Correct NV4500 fluid so the carbon synchros don't get eaten up Probably going with Redline GL4 as its cheap
-Fast PTO cooler with 1/4NPT port for sensor just one cooler no need for both sides IMO
-ECT sensor that fits 1/4NPT or a sensor and an adapter
-Shift tower Isolator
-RTV in an easy dispenser (Mine finally died after like 4 years)
-2 Wire pigtail to wire into auto trans harness with the correct plug for new ECT sensor.

I feel like this project is overly expensive for what it is, the dang GL4 is outragious.
