What's the best fluid to run in the tranny? Best to use whatever came stock? I'm unsure what was used in it before

Pulled the trigger on the tru cool 40k cooler. Got it without the external thermal bypass. Has anyone run this on our trucks?

Good rule of thumb is anything over 100 degrees ambient is getting into the red zone......

Dexron 4 is the factory fill now.

Originally it was Dexron 3


Dex4 exceeds all dex3 requirements.

I like to stay under 200 on fluid temp. 220 wouldnt scare me but I'd be watching it closely and looking to upgrade coolers as you are now.
