Sad to say, but it's time for me to sell my '04 Suburban. It's been a good vehicle but I needed something newer to tow our camper.
Specs: 2004 Chevy Suburban, LT, 4x4, 5.3, 4L60, 3.73 w/G80 and almost all available options.
I am the second private owner, purchased in 2015 with 136k miles on it. Currently has 189,000
Leather seats (3rd row included), 5.3 V8, auto, 4x4. 3.73 final drive, G80 locking rear differential. Front and rear AC and heat. Power windows, door locks, mirrors (power folding mirrors.) Steering wheel audio controls. Power seats (driver and front passenger) EVERYTHING WORKS!
In great condition for a 15 year old truck.
Has the following special additions:
* Trailer brake controller
* Dashboard lights replaced with green LED's,
* Transmission temperature gauge added
* Scangauge II added, can reset and read check engine codes, monitor transmission temp and many other pieces of information
* Factory stereo replaced with AM/FM/CD/MP3 with Bluetooth connectivity, hands-free calling and Bluetooth streaming for music. Has been connected to steering wheel controls so it works with the factory audio controls on the steering wheel
* Very trick dual battery system: I put this in so we could keep a refrigerator in the truck. Battery is connected to the alternator when driving but when the engine is off the battery is isolated so it won't drain the starter battery. I invested $500 in this system alone (the battery itself was more than half of that.) Two AGM batteries (sealed, no maintenance.)
* Mild 1.5" lift with Z71 springs in the back and torsion keyes in tront.
* 285/75/16 (33") tires, Falken Wildpeak AT3W with about 30,000 miles on them (warranteed to 55,000.) Excellent in snow (they have the winter "Snowflake" rating.)
* Extra large transmission cooler installed - keeps transmission under 200f even when towing over Berthoud pass!
* Poor factory fog lights replaced with very bright LED fog lights.
* Husky floor liners, first two rows
Transmission replaced at 184,000 miles with a brand new GM transmission that has a 3 year/100k mile warranty (all warranty paperwork is included.)
Runs excellent, looks good. $6500 OBO.
