I think as a rule of thumb minor spark issues are more noticeable at lower rpms..
It may not hurt to clean the MAF sensor. Looking for simple things first, right?

How long ago did you buy it, both time and mileage wise? How long ago did these symptoms start?

I bought it in November. . Didn't notice it in the test drive, but noticed right after I got it home . . I've had it about 7000 miles

My guess is the PO changed the plugs and wires in an effort to eliminate the symptom, but misdiagnosed. Is your CEL on?
