Thank you for the previous answer. I just removed a single plug and found mine are Bosch HR8LII33U Double Iridium. It is in excellent shape after 20 years and 190k miles. I’ll be hard pressed to go with anything else at this point. Rock Auto list this as Bosch 9602.

Then those aren't the OE plugs; the originals were changed at some point.

Perhaps so, but I bought the truck with 5k miles from the dealership and it had not been registered before I got it. So they have at least 185k miles and still look good. I really expected to see delco 41-110s. Point is, I’m very impressed with the Bosch Double Iridium plugs, OEM or not.

Are you sure you didn't have a "tune up" at some point in the last 190k? The earliest I can find those plugs even being available is either 2007 or 2011

You are correct I my memory has apparently faded. I checked my records and found that I replaced the plugs (ACDelco -12571164) in 2015 with 96,560 miles on them. That’s when I went to the Bosch.
I stand corrected

It'll be interesting to know if all the plugs are Bosch or if that one was replaced tracking down a misfire or something else.

Thank you for being persist. I checked my records (finally) and apparently my memory has faded a bit. I did in fact change the plugs in 2015 with 96560 miles them. The original were ACDelco 12571164. That’s when I installed the Bosch. I also changed the ignition leads as well. I appreciate all of the responses.

By the way. Welcome to your first posts at the forum. You been a member longer than me.

By the way, you should never leave a spark plug in that long, no matter how well it runs.
