So the no drill window bars came yesterday when I was at work I threw them on this morning, install was very easy. Remove the door panel and weatherstripping install the window bars and put it back together, only issue was where the bars go is where the top of the door panel slides in there’s a lip so it wouldn’t sit flush so ended up cutting that lip off and the door panels fit like they did before and come off as easy as they did then and you can’t even notice it was cut.

When I installed the window bars I discovered the RH inner door handle had broken tabs so I picked up one from my local Crown Vic parts guy and swapped it out today, there’s this part that pops out on them to access the screw which all of mine were missing I kinda liked not having them because it was easier to remove the door panel well I popped out the one I got with that door handle and it looks so much better so gonna go grab more for the other handles this weekend.

Finally got around to getting the siren/PA hooked up had my mechanic hook it up he did an phenomenal job on wiring it up it looks factory and he made it so I could easily unplug the siren speaker if I ever need to replace it or change it to a different one, I’ll post some vids at some point it’s loud as hell.

I love PnP stuff. The Vics are so easy to work on and modify. Just like Tahoes.

And also yesterday I finally got the A/C working it’s never worked since I’ve had it. Had my buddy check it when he wired up the siren/PA. The compressor would never kick on so he found the fuse was blown, evacuated the system and recharged it and it’s blowing ice cold he added some dye incase there’s any leaks. Usually when the fuse blows there’s an electrical issue within the compressor but he had it running for close to 2hrs yesterday and it didn’t blow the fuse and I had it on for a bit today so here’s hoping it was something one of the previous owners messed up either shorting it out somehow working on something or maybe a fuse blew on something else and they swapped it with that one and never put a new one in.

Ended up snagging a set of the window bars I originally wanted figured why not because there hard as hell to find, might change it up and swap them out or pick up a second Vic down the road.
