in case you wanted to know the real reason that jump seat is the premium option, here it is

car is still a mess right now. all torn down, no speakers playing.

my 4" full range should be here tomorrow or Monday, and then I can go through and clean the truck, rewire everything, etc

really looking forward to more a sound quality oriented ride

without the 800+lbs in the rear, and the 2nd alt, this truck feels so zippy now lol. I love getting on it full throttle.

gas MPG is also noticeably better. getting between 13 - 18 MPG.

after a few tanks, I'll post up the differences

Where did you get that voltage meter from? Does it go in straight in place of the blank spot or did you have to fab it up to go in there?

after a ton of reading, I basically learned that Leveling Kits are pretty much gimmicks, and don't offer any real advantage over cranking stock keys

so I went out and cranked my keys

the driver side is just about maxed, and I only gained 0.75", which was a little disappointing. might have to get some aftermarket keys to go a bit higher. I'd love to have about 1.25" - 1.5"

current measurements are 36.25" in the front, 37.5" in the rear

so interesting stuff.

I've been reading about leveling, lifting, suspension vs body, free vs expensive, all that jazz

luckily I haven't had to drive much, maybe 50 miles since I cranked the keys.

while I couldn't decide what to do, I knew I needed an alignment. so I took it to a local shop.

here are their notes:

I had no idea that adjusting torsion bars was commonplace during an alignment, but they said "it had to be done to hold up the bumper" they cranked the fuuuuuuu outta my stuff

I gained an extra 0.75" (double what I had before) from it lol

they also told me my rims and tires were shit, I should return them. I asked them what specifically it was, and his quote was "I don't know, you didn't pay me to balance them. if you had, they'd be right and we could talk about it"

safe to say I won't go back there

no idea what this sheet means, but it looks like stuff was outta whack, and is now less whack. neat.

and finally:

allllmmoooost level

about 37" in the front and 37.5" - 38" ish in the rear

I'm super happy with how it all turned out. ride quality seems about the same, but the aesthetic is much more pleasing to me

This truck looks so good! ~ I can't stand it!!

Thanks! I really am in love with how the vehicle has turned out

so many little things going towards making it my own. I'm especially a fan of the HD hood, and color matched mirror thingies

He sounded like a real D-Bag.

I didn't even mention how during their little test drives, I got them on dash cam playing with my radio and smoking cigarettes >.>

maybe I'll make a meme of it soon and post it

I’d take the video to the manager and ask if that that’s company policy to treat a customers vehicle like that. But only because of the guy’s attitude!
