2005 Yukon Ticking/AC

I noticed that my wife's 2005 Yukon 4.8 started having a ticking sound at idle after the engine was warm. To me it sounded like a lifter but didn't do it all the time. Now the last couple days the A/C blows warm at idle and cool only when the engine RPM's are up around 1500.
