2006 gmc yukon xl slt option 2 roof rack

I was wondering thru years are them holes all in same place on top .. Would z71 rack fit on a yukon xl bolt locations in same spots ?

Yes...minus one bolt on the rear most pieces. The Z71 rack has one more bolt than the regular racks. But it still works fine. I put a Z71 rack on my Denali and I've had 3 kayaks and 2 surfboards on the rack with no issues at all. Rack has since been moved to my 2500 and fit the same as it did on the Denali.

Nice... thanks for the reply ..I bought the z71 roof rack and now that I seen it. it's big lol .
Now I understand it's nice that back roller to get stuff up there is very nice .. But now I need the light kit for it .. Or are they same round lights in front for fog lights ? I need put it on yet I'm sure it need a power wire up there.

Do you remember the exact size of bolts that hold 4 plastic ends down .. There's 8 of them and I think it takes 10 T but guy that took it off stripped out 3 of them they all look stripped .. I got 10 T to tighten then enough to stay on ..
