Is this still a battery ground issue or should I replace the throttle body .. has anyone else see this code issue .. I tightened battery cables and now works fine again ...but I got these codes out .. I did update the PCM at GM garage about in January. Now it back again just yesterday. After 230 run cycles.24cbf2f5fc164f133badc937fce6d2e6.png

My 1999 Vette has been utterly possesed a couple times. First time, bad battery, second time bad ground. Was a beach to find all the grounds but def was a bad ground.

Had issues in my 1999 Buick 3.8 L... was blown alternator causing issue. Car would run but made some crazy faults. Eventually alternator died, I replaced it and diacovered it was iassue all along.

Typically you won't have mutiple systems fail at same time. It will be something in wiring instead. Start fixing those deamons and it will iron itself out.

You need multimeter, and test light. AllDataDIY has been invaluable to me in such situations. Electrical is a well, not fun, fiest time... but once you know how to read diagrams it is a breeze.

My guess is yes is an electeical fault. Oh and most shops... electrical goes WAY over their head. But is really simple once you get the hang of it.

From the codes I’m guessing there is a power or ground problem with an o2 circuit that should be fairly straightforward. I’d probably chase after that first in case a related bad ground fixes a TB issue

I installed a new ac delco battery and cables all perfect condition. Maybe there was issues with 2 year old fleetfarm battery might have issues . Now I have stock ac delco battery in there . Right size battery now.

Update ya ac delco battery fixed all the dim light issues stereo and everything works better .. even remote works farther away .
So Battery is a big deal . [emoji106]

Awesome! who knows if issue was poor quality ofbattery or not. Should work if has right cranking amps & capacity. Sometimes batteries are just defective. Many times the generic battery is made in same spot as name brand. That said, takes a lot of guesswork out of it using manufacturer spec'ed stuff.

After new ac delco battery all clean cables and new battery studs .. I cleared codes and came back with these . U1305 hangs right in there . Think I'm dealing with ground issue somewhere ? I cleaned one under on frame under driver's side and hood ground .. would it be one on engine or battery ground cable ?

But everything works perfect . Just still thru those codes.

Yeah try the two grounds on engine... one is behind intake manifold, other is below temp sensor driver side head.

You can check overall current leak.. I don't recall exactly how. Lots of gd tutorials on youtube. scanner danner is gr8

Also connectors sometimes get corroded. Use connector cleaner (auto section walmart)... then silicon the connector to repel water / cuture corrosion.

Check grds at those connectors for those systems... o2 sensors etc. fyi I think maybe grnd on o2 is 2 ohms? don't quote me but just dont be suprised if is case.

MX plus bluetooth adapter and just software it came with . Has a report you can email that's how you get that report . Do a amazon search I think I payed $99 . It does everything you need . But you need patience to learn everything on it. You know how that goes .
