Does your dealer give you the full blown KBB Trade-In Value on your trade in, EXCELLENT Condition?
Go to: http://www.edmunds.com/ and look up "True Market Value". This site is a great resource for new or used features/reviews/pricing.
Good point. And no, they don't.

Ok, edmunds.com lists the same vehicle at $21,300 True Market Value Dealer Retail. Is that more along the lines of what everyone here was thinking it's worth?
Lets forget price for a minute and give me your opinions on this vehicle based on it's mileage? Visually it's in excellent shape and I noticed nothing during the test drive. If I have a mechanic check it out and he finds nothing, is 116k miles on an '07 something to shy away from?
If they do NOT give you the same value on your trade, they should not ask for MAX. on retail.
If the truck checks out by your mechanic and the price is reasonable, I would not shy away from it due to the mileage. If taken care of, these trucks will run for a long time and they are great trucks. We both LOVE ours!
But, you MUST take care of the issues as mentioned by Felix earlier, as they are definitely present:
"If the original owner kept up the vehicle, then you should be fine as these trucks last a LONG time. Just get your mechanic to check it out and look for irregular oil consumption, cracked dash up front, peeling chrome on the interior door handles, and broken exterior chrome door handles. If you can pin point any of that stuff before hand and get the dealer to take care of it before purchasing the vehicle, you will save a lot of money. Good luck on your purchase!"
I had a cracked dash replaced prior to purchase, the chrome INTERIOR door handles were all replaced due to GM recall.
thanks marcus!!!!!!!!!!
