I am living in Qatar, where auto parts are expensive. Case in point: they want about $2,000 to replace an AC compressor.
So I'm looking for one online and wanted to ask if there is a reliable vendor for a new or rebuilt compressor that will ship to Qatar. I can use a forwarding service (Aramex) but it adds a layer of complication.
I'm actually selling the car and collecting information about getting a compressor from the US and the prices as part of the fun negotiation process.
I've already had tensioner, belts and a pulley replaced, which have helped it blow a little colder.
Qatar is ******* cars, especially AC units.
