So there are four bolts there and a couple of them broke on you? Were they broke already and bent the bracket or got broke when you tried to remove them? BTDT!

There are 8 bushings on the end links, 4 per side, and they dry up and fall off. Don't over-torque the new ones, I think it's 17 foot pounds. Check your control arm bushings while you're crawling around down there.
Sorry it’s been a long couple days. I changed the sway bar bushings. Two bolts bee bushing. And i broke two bolts off on the same bracket. Finally got that straightened out. I haven’t changed the links yet. They’re next in line I guess. I’m really hoping not a wheel bearing. It’s just a really weird sound. It’s not really like a moving part. Speed don’t affect it. It sounds the same at 80 as it does just rolling.

Check your heat and dust shields underneath, sometimes the ones on the engine mounts, fuel tank or side of the transmission get loose. How about catalytic converter rattle?

I was under the truck trying to make the thing rattle and I can’t find anything. I checked the fender liners and everything. I really don’t know what else I can check? It’s just so weird that it’s the same volume weather driving fast or turning or anything. Like I can’t find anything that triggers a change in it

Well, do you have any Go-Pros or want to tape your camera phone to various parts underneath while you take it for a quick drive? GM has a tool for this with multiple sensors that listen or detect vibrations and noises.

I had a go pro put no clue what I have done with it it’s been so long since I have used it. My tie rod ends have freeze fittings I packed them full early and that made no difference

Do you feel it in the steering wheel at all?
Not one bit, not in the floor nothing it’s just a sound. The steering is nice and tight it’s just got me really confused cause I can’t find a problem.

As far as I can see you still have not replaced the sway bar links. I thought that was the first thing you were changing and then I read that you did the frame bushings first. Do the links. You said the noise changed slightly after the frame bushings.

You are correct the noise did change. I’ll try to change the links this weekend. I work until dark and don’t have a shop to put it in so itll have to be on the weekend. Should I do all 4 or just the fronts or rears?
