yes, done this because of the oil consumption problem. My next step was going to be to have the flex fuel deleted.

Have you tried a catch can?, that's what many of the members use and recommend to help eliminate the oil consumption, if there is no leaks and no smoking then it's probably still sucking it in the intake.
Any particular brand or company that makes the catch can?
there are many to choose from online, but the upr seems to be a desirable one
Thats what I was looking at. I have a question on this though. Catching the oil before going into the intake is good but how is it being recirculated back into the engine? Is it something you have to empty back into the engine periodically?
NO, that is why it is called a "catch can" the oil is captured in the can then you periodically dispose of it as it fills up.
