Mr tahoe I was just sitting here thinking the exact same thing after I saw what the kit was all about. The kit was handy though. It had the attachments for my drill. Really saved my arm.

992dr thanks. I wasn't really going to post those pics but that was the first time I had any luck with those kits on any vehicle. Probably won't be doing it again though. They are far from perfect. Just prolonged buying new ones for a bit.

Bacovish,

I gave a go once as well. Wont be wasting my time on doing it again. Mine didn't come out half as good as yours.
I'll be ordering some new ones very soon.

TYC or Eagle Eye replacements are usually when people use when they retrofit projectors into these head lamp housings. Also my 2011 Yukon didn't have the fogs and I bought that exact kit listed above and it worked. Definitely a cheap cheap mod to do if you have no fogs.

Yes, I'm looking at TYC and GM OE. As stupid as is sounds, I'm going to buy two sets, incase good things go bad when I do my retrofit.
I'm also debating about doing some fogs to.

I wasnt really planning on doing any retrofitting the headlights. Just simple oe replacements at a good price. Looking at some depo right now. Are they good fits or anyrhing else I should be looking into.

And great info on the fog lamps. Sounds great and the next mod I'm making on my 2009. Thanks.

Sounds good 992dr. They should fit great then. I figured they would be a bit more. After my leather and stereo go in this week I'll pick some up. I should be done after that but I've seen some pretty nice pics of rides on here. Kinda hard not to start making a bunch of mods.

Beware of OE headlights. No one uses them for retrofits because it's so hard to bake and peel apart. TYC/EE aftermarket ones are good quality, cheap (150ish), and peel nice and easy. Food for thought if you're doing future retro... I've gotten several EE and TYC sets and they're great.
